Service Technician

What you will be doing:

• Serve as a dedicated, technical resource for customers in your territory which includes: surface finishing, metalworking, maintenance cleaning and lubrication
• Support the sales team in developing and growing new business opportunities, servicing equipment, and providing product training
• Install equipment systems and troubleshoot
• Communicate with our team members and department personnel in your accounts at all levels to supply "best in class" chemical solutions
• Explain the features and benefits of our products to existing and/or potential customers and provide chemicals to effectively address customer expectations
• Follow customer service protocols to ensure optimal chemical process performance
• Interpret process data. Recommend and/or take corrective action as required

What  you will need:

• 5+ years industrial experience (metal pre-treatment, cleaning, and/or metalworking processes preferred but not required)
• Commitment to a career opportunity
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Desire to learn & develop skill set
• Ability to be directed
• Team mindset
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• General computer knowledge-Experience with Excel, Word & Outlook
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Local travel is required and you must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
