Area Manager of Retail Operations

Location: Orlando, FL

The Area Manager of Retail Operations is a direct hire opportunity.

 

The incumbent is responsible for maximizing sales and profits for multiple retail store locations through management, sales leadership, training and development, standards of operations, cost control and asset protection. Responsible for implementing, managing and monitoring daily store/ retail operations across multiple locations within the designated region. Multi-unit management experience is a must.

 

Responsibilities of the Area Manager of Retail Operations.

  • Responsible for achieving company objectives and executing initiatives, programs and procedures to ensure complete compliance and achievement in the areas of store financial results, customer service, operations, marketing and staff training and development.
  • Provide direction for daily store operations, including store controls, store processes & support and loss prevention
  • Monitor, maintain and report on established processes for continual feedback and process environment
  • Provide immediate support to all field personnel and be a contact person between the field and corporate departments.
  • Provides operational leadership and direction essential to the success of 15-20 stores in an established district.
  •  Attain seasonal, annual and long term financial goals by setting up strategic/functional initiatives and metrics with store managers.
  • Analyze and review store operations through store visits and feedback, driving any issues or concerns observed to resolution, and ensure stores are maximizing productivity.
  • Develop and lead store managers and store personnel to be proactive in new business development, sales process execution, customer service, cost control and their ability to properly analyze and take corrective measures in all areas.
  • Ensure excellent execution by store managers and store personnel of the Company’s minimum accepted standards of internal and external customer service.
  • Hire, Teach, lead and coach store/ retail managers to increase their effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity through continually improving cash handling procedures, Time Management, Coaching and Communication Skills, Leadership Development, Sales Analysis, Problem-Solving Skills, and Interpersonal Relations.
  • Execute all Company marketing plans and programs, ensuring precise and timely set-up, excellent execution, accurate and timely performance feedback.
  • Address leasehold issues and works with corporate support staff to correct concerns or problems.

Senior Business Analyst – Transit Experience

Location: United States

The Senior Business Analyst is a direct hire opportunity.

 

The Business Analyst’s primary function is to work as a team with the Director of IT and other Business Analysts in providing oversight and direction to all transportation service operations in order to ensure that resources of the company are managed and coordinated in an efficient and professional manner to meet company objectives.  This position will include continual analysis of departmental systems for multiple transportation operations, with focus on adding value, improving operational performance, and creating processes improvement models for multiple types of transportation modes.  This position will assist in the field and on a remote basis providing technical support for technology and data systems when needed.    The following is a broad prospectus of the duties and responsibilities.

 

  • Functions as a team member with Director of IT, and other Business Analysts to perform root cause analysis of issues that may occur at the site level and assist team and business in developing strategies to improve the operations at all sites assigned to support.
  • Provides support for and serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the various Transportation Management Systems (TMS) technology (Trapeze, RouteMatch, StrataGen), including scheduling software, Mobile Data systems, IVR and notification systems, and Info-Suite products.  Own and define transit TMS roadmap for transforming the business operations through the IT solutions, both current and future.
  • Develops and maintains system reports for multiple transit locations based on operational needs and identified areas for monitoring.
  • Provides assistance for new transportation startups including, but not limited to, training of new staff both management and hourly, initiating quality controls and processes, and helping to assure a trouble free start up process.
  • Serves as project coordinator for implementation of vendor based technology solutions.  Formulate system scope and design objectives through research and fact finding to configure vendor maintained systems.
