SENIOR LOCATION MANAGER

Location: Carrollton, TX

SENIOR LOCATION MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides operational oversight, day-to-day management, customer interface, and required reporting and compliance mandates (both internal and external) for multiple locations.
  • Represents company management with the client concerning issues of passenger management, route scheduling, billing, charter activities, driver issues, safety and general logistics matters.
  • Directly supervises exempt and non-exempt staff and manages financial performance.  
  • Responsible for stimulating commercial growth.
  • Ensures the safe and timely transportation of passengers to and from their destinations.
  • Builds positive relationships with employees, local school officials, parents and the community.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of the location including: safety, maintenance, dispatch, fleet and facility management, payroll, routing / scheduling, AR/AP.  
  • Evaluates and improves operational efficiencies.
  • Resolves concerns with employees, local school officials, parents, and the community.
  • Implements fair and consistent recognition and/or corrective discipline.
  • Manages and monitors location compliance with federal, state, local, contractual, and company policies and procedures.
  • Supports employee retention through coaching and evaluating employee performance.
  • Recruits, selects, hires, trains and in-boards new employees.
  • Executes the provisions contained in the client’s collective bargaining agreement(s). 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
  • High School Diploma  or equivalent.
  • 8+ years management experience, transportation preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety.
  • Computer literacy essential with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with others in a team setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to train, coach and provide leadership.
