sERVICE tECHNICIAN/account manager

What you will be doing as the Water Treatment Service Technician/Account Manager:

  • Effective technical service to support product application at customer’s sites and create superior account satisfaction/retention

  • Manage multiple customers across given geography that utilize a variety of product lines

  • Troubleshoot any quality variances from recommended ranges

  • Ability to identify continuous improvement projects and other cross sell opportunities within an account

  • Conduct business reviews with key account contacts communicating results, KPI’s, and improvement projects

  • Consistent service of Company equipment repair/replacements/installations, chemical testing, inventory management, and providing customer with value-add personal service

  • Ability to report, document communicate findings, abnormal conditions and offer recommendations

  • Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude by resolving customer’s technical challenges and assist with improving processes

  • Effectively communicate and work collaboratively with team members, as well as other cross functional support employees

  • Learn and assist with Company eTools, System Surveys and Cost Calculators

  • Maintain a constant focus on work and vehicle driving safe habits

  • Effectively enter all relevant information into Analytics or an equivalent data collection system including chemical test results, meter/set point readings, inventory level/dosage rate data, GPS location, and time to service

  • Travel to assigned customer to conduct service audits

  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

What you will need as the Water Treatment Service Technician/Account Manager:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent STEM sciences preferred

  • Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial experience preferred

  • Service experience in the chemical industry is preferred

  • Basic Knowledge in electrical and pipefitting preferred

  • Strong time management skills with an attention to detail

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to travel up to 10% including some overnight travel

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Proficient in performing technical/mechanical on-site testing
