What you will be doing as the Sr. Community Manager of Military Housing: 

  • Responsible for employee supervision and development, business operations, and financial performance of the Property.

  • Manage and oversee the day-to day operation of a portfolio consisting of 1536 residential homes, separated into two geographic locations. 

  • Responsible for hiring, on-boarding, training and development of all site associates.

  • Responsible for counseling, mentoring, development of action plans to ensure accountability of each associate.

  • Responsible for addressing concerns and developing corrective action plans as needed.

  • Responsible for payroll time card and PTO request approvals.

  • Responsible for training managers on budget and financial variances to allow them to better manage their respective departments.

  • Responsible for developing associate engagement and assisting with company-wide initiatives.

  • Responsible for physically walking and inspection the condition of the property, apartment homes, office and maintenance areas to ensure upkeep and curb appeal.

  • Ensure that maintenance tasks are being completed timely and in accordance to standards.

  • Prepares financial statements and reports on property’s financial performance.

  • Directly responsible for managing the portfolio in order to achieve budgeted goals, with specific emphasis on delivery of Net Operating Income.

  • Responsible for reviewing and approving all payables.

What you need as the Sr. Community Manager of Military Housing:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in residential property management, military housing preferred

  • Strong sales skills and innovative marketing ideas. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Administrative, budget, and property management software skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office is required. Experience with Yardi software is a plus.

  • Ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and energetic team leader and motivator.
