- Own the revenue lines and manage media and sponsorship across the company platform and its properties in the US.
- Create and beat your sales goals.
- Manage top of funnel activities to expand our already strong base of relationships for new customers via internet, phone, referrals and networking.
- Build relationships with Tourism Orgs (DMO’s, CVB’s etc), Brands and other Organizations relevant to Travel & Tourism, then: ◦Introduce them to the company.
- Learn their needs.
- Prepare proposals which offer our products and audience as a solution.
- Collaborate with internal implementation team throughout process to understand effective lead times and resource requirements
- Report on sales performance and funnel development with upper management
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Someone who loves travel and exploring the road as much as we do.
- 3-5 years (minimum) of direct sales experience - preferably within the travel/tourism industry.
- The ability to prepare accurate sales projections/goals and then meet them.
- Experience working with clients through implementation of their campaigns and reporting.
- Passion and skill in closing large media deals, with a track record to support.
- Availability to travel as needed (aprox 2-7 days/month)
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and rapport quickly
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
