What you will be doing as the IT Specialist:

• Responsible for maintaining systems, performing updates, implementations and deployments.

• Discover root causes to end-user and network issues.

• Advise and assist users in solving problems related to hardware, software, networks and peripherals using available technology.

• Study and analyze system needs, troubleshoot technical problems and trains users.

• Assist in the development, selection and installation of information center tools.

• Work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

• Configure and install hardware and software.

• Support hardware and software including PCs, printers, wireless access points, barcode scanners, and other devices.

• Setup, change, and maintain Email Accounts, User Accounts, and Network Policies.

• Administer LAN infrastructure including DHCP, DNS, POE, and Physical Interfaces.

• Administer a diverse set of Operating Systems including Windows, UNIX, OSX, IOS, Android and Linux.

• Mobile device configuration.

• Assist with managing WAN and phone systems.

• Monitors compliance to Software Updates, Antivirus, Encryption, and 3rd party security patches and updates.

What you will need as the IT Specialist:

• Associates Degree in IT, with a network focus, or related field or appropriate technical certifications.

• 2+ years of on the job experience in a technical field.

• Experience supporting in a Windows environment (2010). 

• Experience supporting Windows server 2012-2019.

• Active Directory experience. 

• Experience support Android and Apple devices.
