**CONTRACT TO HIRE**
Building long term strategic plan- looking for long term fit!!
What you will be doing:
Designing system and security controls.
Creating security policies and standards.
Researching new security technologies and their application to the corporate environment.
Ensuring all acquired or developed systems are consistent with the corporate security architecture guidelines.
Identifying and prioritizing critical business functions with stakeholders.
Defining and documenting how the implementation of a new system or interface impacts the security posture of the current environment.
Planning system implementation to ensure that all system components be integrated and aligned.
Documenting and addressing the organization’s information security, architecture and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Identifying and documenting the protection needs for the information systems and networks.
What you will need:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, networking or other related field.
Ten years of information technology experience with five years of experience in the information security area.
An information security related certification such as CISSP, CISA or GIAC.
Experience in Linux, Windows, Z/OS or Hybrid.
Experience in evaluating, designing and implementing security solution.
Experience with firewalls, intrusion prevention and detection, network segmentation, authentication, enterprise portals, virus and spam filtering, database encryption, data loss prevention technologies, security hardening techniques or identity and access management solutions.
