What you will be doing as the Financial Reporting Analyst - Regulatory:
Analyze recently issued accounting standards for accounting policy and financial statement disclosure impact, develop and maintain accounting policies to ensure compliance and monitor changes to the regulatory environment.
Monitor U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory exposed and issued standards.
Analyze recent issued U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. Statutory accounting standards for accounting policy, financial statements and disclosure impact.
Analyze exposed issues and standards to determine potential impact to the company.
Monitor, participate and represent the company at industry forums.
Assist in implementing new accounting standards.
Develop and maintain accounting policies to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Provide information and education to the company’s managers.
Assist in analyzing and evaluating financial transactions
Complete special projects and corporate initiatives
What you need as the Financial Reporting Analyst - Regulatory:
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting
At least five years of experience
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to research, interpret, analyze, summarize and present complex accounting pronouncements
Ability to be flexible
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
