What you will be doing:

• Perform research and analysis of statutes, regulations, rules and “best practices” required for incorporation into company policies and procedures. 

• Prepare required documentation for state regulatory examinations. 

• Respond to state regulatory examinations. 

• Develop and implement monitoring and oversight to ensure compliance.   

• Review regulatory websites to identify requirement changes affecting operations.

• Publish findings to select internal departments. 

• Prepare required documentation for, and respond to, state regulatory examinations.
  

What  you will need:

• Undergraduate 4-year degree required, JD a plus 

• 4-6 years of experience in compliance, risk, and financial services/leasing (preferred)

• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with all levels 

• General understanding of business processes, internal controls, and risk 

• Ability to work independently yet collaboratively, with internal and external teams

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills 

• Ability to articulate complex matters and associated risks to key stakeholders and the business 

• Demonstrate sound business judgment as well as apply logical/critical thought processes.
