BRANCH CREDIT MANAGER

**Contract to Hire**
What you will be doing as the Branch Credit and Collections Manager:
Assist the branch AR Specialists in creating new customer accounts in the system, as needed
Manage Credit Hold reports and release orders set forth by parameters
Perform daily activities of the credit & collection department, collections of assigned accounts, invoice dispute resolution and review of accounts with sales staff
Willingness to create and utilize innovative solutions for daily tasks to help increase department overall productivity
Analyze requests for credit and assign credit lines in accordance with established guidelines and authority ($1,500 to $10,000)
Contact trade references and run Experian reports for credit application approval
Prepare Demand Letters and report unsuccessful attempts to the Regional Credit Manager and Director of Credit for further collection/legal action
Recommend and offer alternatives for marginal/high risk companies
Maintain complete and accurate credit files and records of all accounts
Maintain customer files and ensure information is correct
Follow closely the course of aging accounts and determine action to be taken personally or by assistants on delinquent accounts
Review and manage credit limits daily
What you will need as the Branch Credit and Collections Manager:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management
7 years of credit and collections experience
Leadership • Negotiating skills
Customer service centric
Organizational skills
Communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to work with and analyze numbers
Ability to read and analyze financial statements
General computer skills (Operating System and Microsoft office)
