What you will be doing:

Grow our presence, customer relationships, and sales in the Pacific Northwest marketplace
Focus sales effort primarily on the food processing industry and on value-added manufactured chemical products, process aids, and food ingredients
Maintain established customer accounts in addition to generating new business
Problem solving, value added selling process with focus on winning and retaining customers and repeat consumable business
Strong customer emphasis on reducing total cost, improving production quality, and achieving Health, Safety and Environmental goals and objectives
Outstanding field and R&D technical support team to support selling opportunities and account management
Communicating customer needs and requirements to Customer Service

What you will need:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business fields
2+ years of successful sales experience
Proven effectiveness in prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering effective presentation
Proven effectiveness in building and managing long-term customer relationships
High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow
Professionally developed sales and territory management skills·
Local travel is required, and you must possess a valid driver’s license & clean driving record
Up to 10% overnight travel
